At Vacy Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. Our students also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and Performing Arts
Our drama, music, and art programs inspire students to be creative and express their individuality. We encourage all students to participate in our whole-school concerts, community art exhibitions, and drama events.
Cultural Days
Our emerging artists are diligently creating their designs, weaving, and artwork.
Trips and Excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Interest Based Clubs
Our students have been very busy this year coordinating interest clubs for their peers. These clubs provide an opportunity for the development of leadership skills and promote the identification and talents of our high potential students. They also provide an opportunity for students to develop friendships with other students who have similar interests. Clubs include Lego, Art, Sport, Film Making, Boardgames and are available at lunchtimes for all students who wish to participate.
